LISTEN UP!

Throughout my life, without bragging, many people have found me to be extremely progressive in new thought forms, the latest being:
"LISTENING FOR EMPOWERMENT
VERSUS DISEMPOWERMENT"...
I've been an artist running my own business for over 30 years, and honestly I'm so exhausted from having to speak INTO people to get any work done these days... it's extremely draining and most counter-productive. and I find it completely obsolete now...statements such as:
"don't talk to me in that tone of voice". "don't criticize me". "I don't like how you sound" LOL...
on & on & on..." Never really considering the fact that all we are here to do is to accomplish a project, a movement, deliver an order, et cetera... what on earth does that have to do with hearing anything other than greatness?... Why aren't these youngsters and elders listening for empowerment? why are they hearing what feeds their boo-boos and their little broken hearts all day? what is the point? I say put an end to it all by listening for EMPOWERMENT!
once and for all and never consider the fact that somebody is putting you down, hurting you. what business owner on earth is about that? all they want to do is grow their company, be the best they can be, pay their bills and create jobs!
Let's all together, knock off the whining, the finger-pointing the, the avoiding of actual realization and execution of work and start listening for EMPOWERMENT!!!
Regardless of whether you stay or leave this particular job, you are walking away so much better than when you got there. after all we are all paying you to learn!!!
Just imagine if you were to begin mastering this technique of "listening for empowerment"!!! What that could mean to your personal relationships & how "listening for empowerment" could elevate everything in your life!

I have a treaty with myself since I saw a correlation between worry and what causes it; so anything I begin to worry about or catch myself worrying about, I get to work on it because I think that is the only reason we worry, because we're not taking care of what we are worrying about: business at hand

WHY DENIM DAY EXISTS...

In Rome in 1992, a 45-year-old driving instructor was accused of rape. When he picked up an 18-year-old girl for her first driving lesson, he allegedly raped her for an hour, then told her that if she was to tell anyone he would kill her. Later that night she told her parents and her parents agreed to help her press charges. While the alleged rapist was convicted and sentenced, the Italian Supreme Court overturned the conviction in 1998 because the victim wore tight jeans. It was argued that she must have necessarily have had to help her attacker remove her jeans, thus making the act consensual.

"because the victim wore very, very tight jeans, she had to help him remove them...and by removing the jeans...it was no longer rape but consensual sex," the Italian Supreme Court stated in its decision.  "It is a fact of common experience that it is nearly impossible to slip off tight jeans even partly without the active collaboration of the person who is wearing them."

As of 2008 the Italian Supreme Court has overturned their findings, and there is no longer a "denim" defense to the charge of rape.
